Becoming a Tool Library Member and Reserving Tools

  1. Check out the Toledo Tool Library inventory online by clicking here.
  2. Click “Create Account” and provide your information to request membership.
  3. Read, print, and sign user agreements. (If you lack access to a printer, you can obtain these forms at the Toledo Tool Library when you come to pick up your tools.)
  4. Select the tool(s) that you would like to reserve.
  5. Come to the Toledo Tool Library (3557 Monroe Street) on Thursday between 3 and 6 p.m. to submit membership agreements, pay for your membership (check or debit/credit card), and pick up your tools. 
  6. Return your tool(s) the following Thursday or renew online (if what you borrowed is available for renewal).
  7. Browse our inventory and request new tools.
